It is with a heavy heart that we confirm the cancellation of the Cliff Top Music Festival 2026.

This has been one of the most difficult decisions we have ever had to make.

 

For many years, our volunteers, performers, traders, sponsors and supporters have worked together to create an event that has welcomed thousands of visitors, supported local businesses, raised awareness for charitable causes and brought people together through a shared love of music.

 

Sadly, despite our passion and commitment, the challenges surrounding the future delivery of the event have become too great for our small not-for-profit team to overcome.

 

Over recent years, delivering community events has become increasingly difficult. Whilst we fully accept that events must be scrutinised and that concerns should be raised where appropriate, the ongoing pressures, objections, and lack of positive support (morally and financially) along with increasing prices for event infrastructure has taken a toll on both our organisation and our volunteers.

After much reflection, we have concluded that our time, energy and resources are better invested in communities and projects where we feel able to grow, collaborate and deliver positive outcomes for everyone involved.

To everyone who did support us, purchased a ticket, volunteered, traded, performed, sponsored, danced and sang with us over the years – thank you!!!!. You are the reason the Cliff Top Music Festival became such a special event.

All ticket holders will receive a full refund and affected traders, artists and sponsors are being contacted directly.

​

This is not the end of Stir Events CIC. We remain passionate about creating events that bring people together and look forward to announcing exciting new projects in the future.

​

For now, we simply want to say thank you to everyone who believed in the festival and helped make it what it was.
